Boeuf Bourguignon

This week I made the Boeuf Bourguignon recipe by Clotilde Dusoulier and I have to say that I was pretty disappointed.  The flavors were very weak, and although the meat was very tender the taste just wasnt worth the days of effort.  I make a similar dish that take a lot less time and energy. . .and I think it tastes the same if not better.
